Another New Year, another Goodreads Reading Challenge

2018 Goodreads Reading ChallengeIt’s that time of year again for those of us who love reading – time to set our reading goals for 2018.

Every year I sign up for the Goodreads Reading Challenge, and 2018 is no exception.

I’ve pledged to read 45 novels in the new year. I generally meet my challenge, but if I don’t, it’s no problem, since it’s all in good fun. But for those of us devouring novels anyway, it’s a convenient way to keep track of what we’re reading, share reviews and read those of others, learn about new novels out there, and so much more.

What about you, readers? Joining the Goodreads Reading Challenge this year? Happy reading to all!

  1. Yup. My goal is 21. Same as last year. I read in segments some months I’ll finish 3 or more books and other months I get through one if I’m lucky.

  2. You rock, Kimberly! I would match your goal, I’m sure. Until I left France I kept a record of the books I read with a line about each. I was impressed once to see how many I had read. I should not have stopped, especially as I get older and sometimes forget about a book I read 🙂
Good luck and more importantly like you say have fun!

    • Haha! You caught me out, Evelyne. I, too, sometimes forget books I read. I actually got a third through a novel and then realized I’d read it years ago. : ) Mamma mia, as we say here in Italy. I’ll be kind and say it is because we are such voracious readers! hope your reading (and writing) year has started off well…

      • Mama Mia, indeed:)
        Happy reading!
